10 month old Cooper

A success story from our team at NCVC.

This gorgeous puppy is 10 month old Cooper. When Cooper was born his ulna growth plates closed over too early and his radius bones kept growing, this caused his radius bones to bow quite dramatically as you can see in the photo.

The second photo shows one leg repaired while the other one has not yet been done and is due to be done in the next couple of weeks. If we had not operated, eventually his feet and elbows were going to turn further outwards causing him pain, discomfort and a high possibility of arthritis.
