>1 month prior to movement

  • Organise transport date with Transport Company
  • Organise departure date with grazier
    Organise magnesium supplementation logistics
  • Organise hay/balage supplementation logistics for magnesium feeding and preconditioning of ewes for transport
  • Let grazier know about yarding requirements date prior to departure

< 1 month prior to transport

  • Commence hay and magnesium supplementation at least 2 weeks prior to departure date
  • Confirm departure date with grazier and transport company 1 week prior to departure date
  • Complete pre-lamb clostridial vaccination no closer than 5 days prior to departure date

Day of Transport

  • Confirm time with transport company and grazier
  • Confirm feed protocols with grazier
  • Organise feeding regime on home farm
  • Record No’s of animals transported and time of departure and ET Arrival
